  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 1 stick margarine, soft
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 3 c. cake or plain flour
  • 6 or 7 eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. lemon extract
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions

    Cream shortening, sugar and eggs.

    Beat until smooth and creamy.

    Add flour and milk alternately, starting and ending with flour.

    Add flavorings and beat well.

    Bake in a tube or Bundt pan, greased and floured, at 350° for 1 hour.

    Reduce heat to 325° and continue baking 1/2 hour.
