  • 3 c. Softasilk flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 9 large or 10 small eggs
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 lb. butter
  • small amount Carnation cream

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar until soft and fluffy.

    Add eggs, one at a time.

    Add flour and cream alternately until right consistency.

    Put in cold oven.

    Cook at 300° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

    Do not open oven door until after 1 hour.
