  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 1 c. evaporated milk
  • 1/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tsp. lemon extract
  • 1 tsp. orange extract

    Cream sugar and shortening.

    Add one egg at a time and beat well after each addition.

    Add sifted dry ingredients to creamed mixture, alternating with milk.

    Bake in greased and floured 10-inch tube pan at 325° for 1 1/2 hours in preheated oven.
