- 3 c. flour
- 1 lb. butter or oleo
- 9 eggs
- 2 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring
- 1 1/2 tsp. lemon extract
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions

1Use two bowls to mix this cake.

2In one bowl, mix together the flour and butter and work until it is creamy.

3In second bowl, mix eggs and sugar, beating until light and fluffy.

4Then mix the two together, beating well.

5Add baking powder, salt, butter flavoring, and lemon extract and vanilla extract.

6Mix thoroughly.

7Pour into a very large tube pan (or use 2 pans).

8Bake 1 hour in 300° oven. Increase heat to 325° and bake 15 to 20 minutes longer.
