  • 2 c. sugar
  • 6 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 2 c. flour, sifted 3 times

Directions

    Cream the sugar and butter well. Add eggs, flour and flavoring.

    Mix well with electric mixer at high speed.

    Pour into a well-greased and floured tube pan and bake 1 1/4 hours at 325°.
