  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 1/2 c. plain flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. lemon extract
  • 6 large eggs

Directions

    Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs.

    Combine salt and flour. Add alternately with milk, mixing after each addition.
