  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1/2 lb. margarine
  • 1/4 c. Crisco
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. lemon flavoring
  • 3 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 small can evaporated milk (add water to make 1 c.)

Directions

    Cream margarine, shortening and sugar thoroughly.

    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.

    Add flavorings.

    Mix flour and milk into creamed mixture alternately, beginning and ending with flour.

    Bake at 315° to 325° for 1 1/4 hours in greased tube pan.
