  • 1 c. or 2 sticks margarine
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. lemon or vanilla flavoring

Directions

    Cream margarine, sugar, and eggs. In separate bowl, mix all dry ingredients; add to the first mixture a little at a time, alternating with milk. Mix well and add flavoring. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan and bake for 3 hours at 350°.
