- 1/2 c. half-and-half
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans, toasted (optional)
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions

1Combine first 3 ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat.

2Bring to a boil; cook, stirring constantly, 1 minute. Remove from heat; stir in pecans and vanilla.

3Cool slightly; serve warm over slices of pie.
