  • 1 lb. brown sugar (light)
  • 1 c. evaporated milk
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp. confectioners sugar
  • 1 c. pecans

    Cook sugar and milk to soft ball stage (238°).

    Remove from heat.

    Add margarine and confectioners sugar.

    Let cool to 220°. Add nuts and vanilla.

    Beat until creamy.

    Drop on wax paper.

    Let cool.
