- 2 (2 to 3 lb.) fryer/broilers, cut up into portion sized pieces
- 2 eggs, beaten until lemon yellow
- 1/2 c. milk
- 3 c. finely crushed pretzel crumbs (cocktail type pretzels)
- vegetable oil or shortening
Directions

1Dry pieces of chicken with paper towels.

2Mix eggs and milk thoroughly.

3Place finely crushed pretzels in paper sack.

4Dip each chicken piece in egg-milk mixture; then place in sack of crushed pretzels.

5Shake until each piece is completely coated.

6Then drop chicken into 350° vegetable oil and fry until a rich golden brown. Place fried chicken pieces on aluminum foil-lined large, flat baking dish in 300° oven for an additional 35 minutes.

7Serve piping hot.
