- 2 c. crushed pretzels
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
- 3/4 c. melted margarine
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
- 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen sliced strawberries
Directions

1Pretzels should not be crushed too fine.

2Allow some very small pieces to remain for crunch.

3A good way to crush them is to put pretzels into strong plastic bag and press firmly with rolling pin. Mix together pretzel crumbs, margarine and sugar and press into a 9 x 13-inch pan.

4Bake at 400° for JUST eight minutes, NO LONGER! Let cool.

5Beat cream cheese with 1 cup sugar until well combined. Stir in Cool Whip and spread on cooled pretzel crust.

6Dissolve jello in boiling water, then stir in frozen strawberries.

7Let this mixture stand for 10 minutes.

8Pour on top of cheese mixture and chill.
