Ingredients

  • 2 c. crushed pretzels (not fine)
  • 3/4 c. melted margarine
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 9 oz. thawed Cool Whip
  • 1 large Jell-O
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. sliced strawberries, thawed

Directions

    Combine pretzels, margarine and 1/2 cup sugar; press onto bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking pan.

    Bake at 350° for 10 minutes. Combine softened cream cheese and cup of sugar.

    Mix well and fold in whipped topping.

    Spread on pretzels and chill.

    Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water.

    Add strawberries and chill until partly jelled. Pour over cream cheese layer.

    Chill until firm.
