  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • coarse salt

    Mix yeast and water in bowl.

    Add sugar, salt and flour; mix well.

    Knead on floured board.

    Make 16 pieces.

    Shape into pretzel.

    Brush beaten egg on top of dough.

    Sprinkle coarse salt. Spray cookie sheet.

    Bake at 425° for 12 to 15 minutes.
