  • 2 c. carrots, diced small
  • 2 small onions, diced small
  • 1/3 c. butter
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 qt. chicken stock
  • 2 blades mace
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 2 c. scalded milk
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp. chopped parsley

Directions

    Saute vegetables in butter.

    Add flour; mix well.

    Add hot chicken stock; add seasoning and check for taste.

    Mix well.

    Cook 15 minutes.

    Add strained scalded milk.
