- 2 small onions, diced small
- 1/3 c. butter
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 1 qt. chicken stock
- 2 blades mace
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 c. scalded milk
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp. chopped parsley
Directions

1Saute vegetables in butter.

2Add flour; mix well.

3Add hot chicken stock; add seasoning and check for taste.

4Mix well.

5Cook 15 minutes.

6Add strained scalded milk.

7Stir in Parmesan cheese and freshly chopped parsley.
