  • 1/2 c. sour milk
  • 1/2 c. molasses
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. melted butter
  • 1 1/2 c. sifted flour
  • 1 tsp. ginger
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 unbeaten egg

Directions

    Mix together all ingredients, except egg, then add unbeaten egg and beat all lightly.

    Bake in a shallow pan in a moderate oven for 20 minutes at 350°.

    This is delicious warm or served cold topped with whipped cream.
