  • 1 lb. butter or oleo
  • 9 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp. butter flavor
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 tsp. lemon extract
  • 2 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

    Mix together flour and butter.

    Work until creamy.

    Add eggs and sugar.

    Mix well.

    Add baking powder, salt, butter, flavoring, lemon and vanilla extract.

    Mix thoroughly.

    Pour into large tube pan.

    Bake 1 hour in 300° oven.

    Increase heat to 325° and bake 15 to 20 minutes longer.
