Ingredients

  • 12 cups water
  • 1 cup quinoa
  • 1 cup split peas
  • 1 cup brown lentils
  • 1 cup red lentil
  • 2 cups cooked short grain brown rice
  • 2 red potatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 cup baby carrots, diced
  • 2 tablespoons seasoning salt (to taste)
  • any fresh I like fresh parsley or dried herbs, that you want to try I like fresh parsley

Directions

    soak quinoa for 30 minutes to eliminate any bitterness while heating water to a boil and chopping veggies.

    add split peas and brown lintels to water, return to a low boil

    20 minutes later add all other ingredients.

    simmer till everything is tender maybe 30 more minutes, adding more water if necessary.
