Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt and cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • 2 c. pitted prunes, chopped
  • 2 c. shredded apples
  • 1 c. nuts

Directions

  1. 1
    Mix first 3 ingredients. Add dry ingredients that have been sifted together. Add prunes, apples and nuts.

    Bake in a 10-inch tube pan that has been greased and floured at 350° for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until tested done. Cool 15 minutes and invert onto rack. Dust with powdered sugar.
