- 2 c. flour
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. allspice
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 c. chopped pitted prunes
- 1 c. chopped walnuts
- 3/4 c. vegetable oil
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 c. buttermilk
Directions

1Mix together flour, sugar, spices, prunes and walnuts.

2Set aside.

3Mix oil, eggs and vanilla.

4Dissolve baking soda in buttermilk.

5Pour all liquid ingredients over dry ingredients. Stir until just blended.

6Spoon into muffin cups.

7Makes 16 to 18 muffins.

8Bake at 400° for about 15 minutes.
