  • 1 (10 oz.) can cooked and drained prunes, chopped (save juice)
  • 1 box yellow cake mix, mix as directed
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 stick melted margarine

Directions

    Beat prunes, cake mix, cinnamon and nutmeg real hard.

    Bake for 40 minutes at 350°.

    While cake is hot, poke holes in cake layer. Mix buttermilk, sugar and melted margarine together; pour over the cake.

    Heat and stir until all sugar is melted.

    Bake in pan that the cake can stay in until all is eaten.
