Ingredients

  • 4 lbs. (8 c.) pitted prunes, chopped fine
  • 1 (2#) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 6 oranges, ground (rind & all)
  • 4 lemons, juice only
  • sugar (equal to total of above ingredients)
  • nutmeats, chopped (optional)

Directions

    Place all above ingredients in crock or glass container.

    Let stand 5 to 7 days before serving, then refrigerate.
  3. 3
    Portion not used within 30 to 40 days should be put in containers and frozen. Serve on pancakes, waffles or French toast.
