- 1 lb. cooked prunes (reserve 1/2 c. prune juice)
- 2/3 c. cornstarch
- 2 c. sugar
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- whipped cream
Directions

1Pit and chop the prunes.

2Blend the reserved 1/2 cup prune juice with the cornstarch until smooth.

3Combine prunes, sugar, lemon juice and cornstarch mixture in a saucepan.

4Simmer until thick and clear.

5Cool slightly.

6Add nuts and cinnamon.

7Chill. Serve with whipped cream.
