Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1/2 c. warm milk
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Add the milk, margarine or butter, sugar and salt.

3Add the flour.

4Knead.

5Allow to rise in bowl until doubled, about 30 minutes.

6Punch dough down.

7Roll out into an 8 x 12-inch rectangle.

8Spread surface with soft margarine. Cut into halves; stack halves, then cut into fourths.

9Stack layers sideways in medium loaf pan which has been greased.

10Allow to rise until doubled, about 45 minutes.

11Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

12Pull apart to serve.
