- 3 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. canned pumpkin
- 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/4 c. oil
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Sift together flour, baking powder and spices.

2Mix pecans. Blend eggs, milk, pumpkin, brown sugar, oil and soda.

3Add liquid all at once to flour mixture, stirring only until flour is moistened.

4Pour into 2 greased 1 pound coffee cans.

5Bake in preheated oven at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done. Cool 15 minutes before removing from cans.

6Cool thoroughly before cutting.
