Ingredients
- 2 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, ginger and salt
- 1 Tbsp. wheat germ
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. canned pumpkin
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 3 Tbsp. molasses
- 1/2 c. water, raisins, chopped nuts
Directions

1In a medium bowl, sift dry ingredients (first 6).

2Beat sugar, pumpkin, oil, eggs and molasses.

3Blend in the dry ingredients; mix well.

4Add water; fold in raisins (and nuts, optional).

5Turn into greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.

6Bake at 350° for 65 minutes or until center springs back.

7Cool on wire rack 10 minutes. Remove.

8Cool to room temperature.
