Ingredients

  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1/3 chopped green pepper
  • 1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 tsp. oregano leaves, crushed
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 9 lasagna noodles (uncooked)
  • 3/4 c. chopped celery
  • 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/4 c. shredded Mozzarella
  • 2 c. thinly sliced zucchini

Directions

    In a 2-quart saucepan cook onion, celery and green pepper in margarine until tender.

    Add tomatoes, water and seasonings. Bring to boil.

    Reduce heat; simmer over low heat, uncovered, 30 minutes.

    Add 3/4 cup Mozzarella cheese; stir until smooth.
