- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. cloves
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- pecan halves (optional)
- 1 (9-inch) pie crust (unbaked)
Directions

1Beat cream cheese until fluffy, gradually adding sugar combined with spices.

2Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.

3Beat in pumpkin and vanilla.

4Pour into prepared shell. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes, or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

5During last 15 minutes of baking, pecan halves may be placed on top as decoration.

6Chill before serving.
