  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/3 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • 3 1/3 c. milk
  • 3 c. canned pumpkin

Directions

    Sift dry ingredients together and stir into eggs.

    Add milk and pumpkin.

    Pour into pastry-lined pie pan.

    Bake in very hot oven (450°) for 10 minutes.

    Reduce temperature to 325° and bake 35 minutes longer or until knife inserted into center comes out clean. Makes two 9-inch pies.
