Ingredients

  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 (16 oz.) can solid pack pumpkin
  • 3/4 c. sugar, half brown
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1 (12 oz.) can undiluted evaporated milk
  • 1 deep 9-inch pie shell or 2 shallow 9-inch pie shells

Directions

    Combine ingredients in order given, pour into pie crust or crusts.

    Bake at 425° for 15 minutes then 350° until knife comes out clean when inserted at center of filling, usually 30 minutes for small pie or 50 minutes for deep pie.
