- 1 unbaked pastry shell (9-inch)
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 c. canned pumpkin
- 1 1/2 c. evaporated milk
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. cloves
Directions

1Preheat oven to 450°.

2In large mixing bowl, beat eggs slightly; add remaining ingredients and mix well.

3Pour custard into pastry shell.

4Bake 10 minutes; reduce temperature to 300° and continue baking until knife inserted in center comes out clean, about 40 to 50 minutes.

5Cool.

6Serve with whipped cream. Makes one 9-inch pie.
