- 1 1/4 c. canned pumpkin
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ginger
- 1/8 tsp. cloves
- 1 1/4 c. evaporated milk or light cream
Directions

1Heat oven to 425°.

2Prepare pastry.

3Beat the egg slightly with rotary beater.

5Pour into pastry lined pie pan.

6(To prevent spills, place pie pan on oven rack or on open oven door when filling with pumpkin mixture.)

7Bake for 15 minutes.

8Reduce oven temperature to 350° and bake for 35 more minutes.
