  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
  • 1 can pumpkin
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • 1 1/2 c. evaporated milk

Directions

    Mix filling ingredients in order given.

    Pour into unbaked pie shell.

    Bake in preheated 425° oven for 15 minutes.

    Reduce temperature to 350° and continue baking for 45 minutes until knife inserted in center of pie filling comes out clean.

    Cool. Garnish with whipped cream.

    Makes one 9-inch pie or two smaller ones.
