  • 4 c. pumpkin
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. heavy cream
  • 2 c. sugar (brown or white)
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp. salt

Directions

    Whisk eggs with sugar.

    Add cream.

    Pour into pumpkin and mix well.

    Add seasonings and pour into unbaked pie shells.

    Preheat oven to 375°.

    After cooking for 10 minutes, turn pies 1/4 turn and lower temperature to 350°.

    Set timer for 1/2 hour and check again.

    Check every 10 minutes until pies are firm.
