Pumpkin Pie Cake

  • 32 oz. can pumpkin
  • 4 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 12 oz. can evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 18 1/2 oz. pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 3/4 c. margarine, melted
  • chopped nuts

Directions

    In a large bowl, mix pumpkin, eggs, milk, sugar and spices. Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix over top of pumpkin mixture.

    Dribble melted margarine over cake mix. Sprinkle nuts on top.

    Bake at 300° for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Serve with whipped cream.
