Ingredients
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
- 1 large sliced onion
- 3/4 c. chopped green onions
- 1 can (16 oz.) pumpkin
- 4 c. chicken stock (bouillon is okay)
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. curry powder
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- parsley
- 2 c. milk
- salt to taste
Directions

1Add onion and green onion to margarine, cook until soft.

2Stir in pumpkin, chicken stock, bay leaf, sugar, curry powder, nutmeg and parsley.

3Cook 15 minutes, uncovered.

4Puree in blender.

5Add milk and salt gradually, mix and simmer 10 minutes.

6Garnish with chopped green peppers or a drop of sour cream or paprika.
