  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2/3 to 3/4 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter or oleo
  • 1 tsp. ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 large can pumpkin

Directions

    Mix sugar, salt and spices; add beaten eggs, milk and pumpkin. Mix and pour into 13 x 9-inch pan.

    Sift cake mix evenly over top.

    Dribble melted butter over top of cake mix.

    Sprinkle nuts on top.

    Bake for 1 hour at 350°.

    Serve with whipped cream if desired.
