  • 2 frozen pie crusts
  • 1/2 lb. bacon
  • 3 chopped onions
  • 1/2 lb. Swiss cheese, cubed or sliced
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 pt. heavy cream
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • nutmeg to taste

Directions

    Fry and crumble bacon.

    Fry onions in bacon fat.

    Divide between crusts.

    Layer cheese on top.

    Beat together eggs, cream and seasonings.

    Pour into crusts.

    Bake at 450° for 10 minutes, then turn to 325° for 20 minutes or until set.

    Freezes well after baking.

    Can be cut frozen and heated as individual pieces.
