- 10 slices bacon
- 9-inch pastry shell
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. light cream
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. chopped chives
Directions

1Precook bacon slices; drain on paper towel.

2Crumble into pastry shell with cheese.

3Beat eggs and light cream slightly. Add salt and chives.

4Pour over bacon and cheese in shell.

5Bake 15 minutes at 425°.

6Reduce heat to 300° and bake 30 minutes. Knife will come out clean when tested as you would test custard. Let stand 10 minutes.

7Cut in wedges and serve.
