  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • powdered sugar
  • oil (for frying)

Directions

    Heat the oil to 375 degrees.

    Start by combining the two eggs and sugar.

    Wisk until the egg mixture is pail and fluffy.

    Add the yogurt, butter and vanilla, wisk briefly.

    In a separate bowl, combine the flour, salt, baking powder and soda.

    Add the dry ingredients to the wet.

    Stir just until ingredients are combined, if you over mix the dough will become tough.

    Roll the dough to 1/4 inches thick.

    Cut doughnuts as close together as possible. Repeat with the remaining dough.

    Fry on each side until golden brown.

    Drain the doughnuts on a paper towel.
