  • 3/4 stick margarine or butter
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. sweet milk
  • 1 can pie cherries

Directions

    In round, deep pie pan, put margarine and place in 425° oven to melt.

    While margarine is melting, mix together the flour, sugar and sweet milk; mix well.

    Pour this mixture over melted margarine, but do not stir.

    Pour can of cherry pie filling in pan; do not stir.

    Bake 25 minutes at 425° or until crust is brown.

    (Crust will not rise to top if a square pan is used.)
