Quick Corn Chowder

Ingredients

  • 1 can Campbell's golden corn soup
  • 3/4 soup can milk
  • 1 small can Carnation evaporated milk (optional, may use extra regular milk)
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery, diced
  • 1/2 c. onion, diced
  • 1/4 c. carrot, diced
  • 2 Tbsp. bacon drippings or cook 3 slices bacon and use the drippings
  • crumbled bacon (if you have any)

Directions

    Saute the veggies in bacon drippings.

    Mix the soup and the milk and evaporated milk together and heat; add the sauteed veggies and heat through; don't boil.

    Serve in big soup cups. Makes 3 large soup cups or 4 small ones of chowder.

    Crumble bacon atop each as you serve the soup.
