  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. fruit in season
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine

Directions

    Combine flour, sugar and baking powder in a 2-quart baking dish.

    Stir in milk and vanilla making a thin batter.

    Place fruit over the batter.

    Do not stir.

    Dot butter on top of fruit. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until nicely browned.
