- 1 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. fruit in season
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
Directions

1Combine flour, sugar and baking powder in a 2-quart baking dish.

2Stir in milk and vanilla making a thin batter.

3Place fruit over the batter.

4Do not stir.

5Dot butter on top of fruit. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until nicely browned.
