- 2 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. butter or shortening
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. instant potato flakes
- 2 pkg. quick-rise yeast
- 1 tsp. salt
- 6 c. flour
- vegetable oil
Directions

1Heat water and butter to 125° to 130°.

2Add rest of ingredients to make a stiff dough.

3Oil top and let rise 30 to 45 minutes.

4Punch down and knead for 4 to 6 minutes.

5Divide into 3 portions.

6Shape into loaves.

7Place in greased pans.

8Let rise to double.

9Bake at 350° until done.
