Ingredients
- 2 lb. lean ground lamb
- 2 c. uncooked rice
- 3 pkg. dried onion soup
- 5 c. boiling water
Directions

1Cut or form lamb into patties.

2Brown lightly.

3Pour off excess fat.

4Put into large Dutch oven or casserole.

5Dissolve soup in boiled water.

6Pour over lamb and bring again to a boil. Add rice; bring to boil again.

7Cover and bake in a 400° oven for about 40 minutes or until rice is cooked and water is absorbed. Serves 6.
