  • 4 to 6 pork chops
  • 1 c. uncooked rice
  • 1 can consomme (beef)
  • 1 can water
  • 1/4 c. chopped bell pepper
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. oil

Directions

    Salt and fry chops in oil; set aside.

    Place rice in baking dish.

    Add pepper, onion, soup and water.

    Lay chops on top. Cover with foil; bake at 400° for 35 minutes, or until rice is flaky and tender.
