Quick Rising Yeast Dough

- 5 1/2 c. unsifted flour
- 3 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. milk
- 3/4 c. water
- 1/2 c (1 stick) butter or margarine
- 2 eggs, beaten
Directions

1Mix flour, yeast, salt and sugar together in a bowl and set aside.

2Mix together in a saucepan on medium heat, milk, water and butter until scalding hot.

3Pour hot mixture slowly into dry ingredients, beating with mixer while you pour.

4Halfway through, add eggs mixing well.

5Keep mixing liquid into dry ingredients. As dough forms, you may use hands (lightly floured) to finish mixing.
