Quick Swiss Quiche

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. butter, melted
  • 1/2 c. biscuit mix
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 c. shredded Swiss cheese
  • 5 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • herbs to taste (dill, chives, marjoram)

Directions

    In blender container, combine eggs, milk, butter, biscuit mix, salt and pepper.

    Blend for a few seconds.

    Pour into greased 9-inch pie plate.

    Sprinkle with cheese, bacon, onion and herbs. Bake at 350° (325° for glass pan) for 40 to 45 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.

    Cool 10 minutes before cutting.

    Serves 4 to 6.
