  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 each onions chopped
  • 1 each apples tart, cored, chopped
  • 2 each garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons curry powder
  • 2 tablespoons flour, all-purpose
  • 1 1/2 cup turkey or chicken stock
  • 3 cups turkey cooked, cut in 1 inch cubes
  • 1/2 cup yogurt, plain plain
  • 1 each bananas cut in 1/2 inch slices
  • 1/2 cup almonds slivered, toasted

Directions

    Melt butter in large skillet.

    Add onion, garlic, cook over moderate heat, about 3 minutes, stirring often, until softened.

    Sprinkle with curry powder; stir 15 seconds.

    Sprinkle with flour, cook, stirring, 1 minute.

    Stir in broth, bring to a simmer.

    Reduce heat, cook 5 minutes.

    Stir in cooked turkey or chicken, cook until heated through about 2 minutes.
