  • 1 (1 lb. 3 oz.) pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 1 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 c. oil
  • 3/4 c. sweet sherry
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg

Directions

    Combine all ingredients.

    Mix with electric beater about 5 minutes at medium speed.

    Pour batter into a greased angel food cake pan.

    Bake in moderate oven (350°) for about 45 minutes or until done.

    Cool in pan about 5 minutes before turning out on rack.

    Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
